Emirates Airlines has confirmed its full readiness to take all those who wish to leave the country to go to their home countries, only if these countries agrees and allows them to enter their territories. 

Also yesterday, the first group of UAE citizens stranded abroad, arrived to the Dubai International Airport after the decision to suspend flights was taken at all the country's airports, as of the evening of March 24, 2020, after Emirates Airlines promised to contribute to their return to the UAE, on the first air flights that Emirates Airlines made only for that purpose, flights that are coming from Heathrow Airport in the British capital, London, which carried 42 UAE citizens and their families who were found in Britain for the purpose of studying or medical purposes.

Emirates Airlines pointed out that it is coordinating with the concerned authorities in this regard, pointing out that the restoration of operations through its extensive network of routes is primarily dependent on easing restrictions on travel and air travel, with the company keen to undertake all health and safety measures for all passengers and operating crews, this includes conducting the necessary medical checks for all travelers.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airlines, recently stated that Emirates Airlines will bring back UAE citizens, to their homeland for free on board of the limited flights that started operating from Dubai.

Indeed, the first group of UAE nationals who were stuck outside after the suspension of flights at the country's airports was taken as part of the intensive precautionary measures applied by the UAE to combat the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19).

This comes after Emirates Airlines obtained all the necessary approvals, to operate limited flights to certain destinations, which was started to be implemented from last Sunday, those flights will contribute to transporting some passengers to those destinations: 
Heathrow 
Frankfurt
Paris
Brussels
Zurich, with an average of four flights per week to London Heathrow, and three flights per week to Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich.
