Recent studies shows that people that do not have coronavirus symptoms, referred to as Asymptomatic, and other people who will eventually develop symptoms -- referred to as Pre-symptomatic can transmit the virus before symptoms occur, consistent with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The new findings mean the virus can spread between people in close proximity. In response the CDC recommended Friday to wear cloth face coverings publicly settings where social distancing measures are difficult to take care of (example: grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of serious community-based transmission.
