A statement from Dubai Airports regarding flights starting from today

Dubai Airports Corporation said that the UAE authorities have given Emirates Airlines permission to transport passengers from the Emirates to some destinations, and as a result, the company will start operations today to specific destinations from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.

The Company advised dealers wishing to travel to contact Emirates Airlines directly for additional information or travel reservations, noting that all departing passengers will undergo a thermal scan at Dubai International Airport. Passengers are also reminded to bring face masks and gloves and to adhere to the rules of physical distancing.

The company stated on its website, that this development comes after the suspension of all incoming, outgoing and transit passenger flights through Emirates airports as of 11:59 pm on March 24 for a period of two weeks, noting that regardless of Emirates Airlines operations mentioned above, freight flights will be operated only emergency evacuations from Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central Airport during this period.

The company affirmed its full commitment to support the measures taken to ensure the health and safety of customers, society and employees.
