A smart helmet to detect Coronavirus cases in the Emirate of Dubai

Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services revealed the introduction of an innovative technology, to detect those infected with the Coronavirus (Covid-19), which is a smart helmet, that enables paramedics to measure the temperature of those around him, just by looking at them.

The Executive Director of the the Emirate of Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Khalifa Al-Darai, told News Websites that the smart helmet, which was recently introduced by the DCAS™, and is currently under experiment, comes as part of its efforts to provide the latest equipment and ambulance equipment in the world, also training the Emirate of Dubai paramedics with it, with the aim of providing the highest levels of prevention and health safety in the Emirate of Dubai.

Al-Darai explained that the smart helmet in Dubai adopts artificial intelligence techniques in its mechanism, so that it is programmed electronically by the paramedic, and it is linked to a smart software on the mobile phone, to enable the paramedic to measure the temperature of a person by looking at him using the smart helmet in Dubai, and then to identify the possibility of being infected with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) or not, and take the necessary measures.

Al-Darai pointed out that the smart helmet in Dubai will be tested to work inside and outside buildings in the Emirate of Dubai, to measure its effectiveness in discovering and checking cases according to the air temperature.

China already tested this helmet, and now it's officialy here in UAE, Smart Helmet Corona UAE, Smart Helmet Coronavirus UAE, Smart Helmet Corona Dubai.
